I am a mom to one Millennial and six Gen Z's...
Often I have thought (and said out loud) "I'm not worried, one day they'll get it" as if my generation had all the answers and one day when they all just came to their senses and did it our way everything was gonna be okay. Just what if we spent less time trying to teach them "the right way" and instead, with reckless abandon we fell in love with their generation. They are God's good plan. We're bridging the Gap on Moto Church.
We just wanna give something back after coming from a very dark and lost place. We have kids from Generation Z to MIllennials. It's insane to try to understand all the differences. We have friends in the Millennial age group also not to mention are baby boomer kids and have boomer friends to boot. We realized we dont need a definition of millennial or to know the GEN Z years. Heck I don't even know the actual GEN X years of my own generation whats between gen X and Millennial if anything -- or if there is just a cut off day. Ha. Sometimes all the confusion is so overwhelming we just refer to ourselves as generation X triggered and just simply accept the fact that we don't have a clue what's after gen Z nor before Baby Boomer and instead focus on the most productive way to operate in all of it. This is what we've arrived at and we believe it to be the way to roll.
